The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access sassa status to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
